My friends new baby

Yesterday I got a text on my phone from a friend I have been trying to get in touch with for ages. The text read ladies and gentlemen Freddie was just born 7lbs, 15 and a half ounces. He's a very laid back chap unlike his hysterically happy dad and incredible mum. I don't think he will mind me telling the whole world that there is another member of the Potts family being brought up in a the world and if he grows up to be anything like his mum and dad then we are in for a real treat as they are two of the best people that I know. So congratulations to you both and I have to say welcome to the world freddie.

hi jamie!
when i read your story i couldnt help crying.
i feel so awful, sitting in my room, inside my house tapping on my computer, angry with myself because i ate too much an hour ago....
ive always been aware of the homeless situation, but still, hearing your story opened my eyes once again...
i just want to give you a great hug, and to hug all the homeless, hungry, poor and sick..
i dont know what ive done to deserve a life like mine, i love it, i appreciate it. and i will NEVER forget that there are others in need, others to help. theres not too much i can do right now, as im 18 years old, and stuck at school in norway. (i do not know the 17 years old maria though)
but what i do know, is that i will always help the weak, and im not only talking about humans... there are surprisingly much to do in this world, alot of animals are being abused, so are children, and grown-ups for that matter, and if we continue wrecking the nature like we do, well all die sooner or later, alot of people dont think about our children to come, were making their lives harder by the moment, theyll hate us all for being so blind and stupid...
well jamie, i just want you to know that i respect you, care for you, and look up to you, youve been very strong indeed. be proud of yourself, i wish my friend, hwos a drugaddict could be as strong as youve been....
give freddie a hug from me, and give my congrats to his parents!
Ill keep checking your blog from time to time=)
take care my friend<3
love Line

Grats to the new one! =) It's always a pleasure hearing of new born.

Anyway, I'm a girl from Rome, also living in Norway atm. I think you'll find it enlightening to hear that a norwegian site www.startsiden.no dug up your blog, and told your story.
I admire you, and I can't even begin to imagine what you've gone through.

I'm happy to see your writings, tho. Have a good life, Jamie.
